Blocking includes which elements?

Lighting design

Actor and camera movement within a scene

Blocking is the planning of where actors stand and how they move within a scene, and how the camera will capture those movements. This choreography shapes who’s in frame at any moment, who looks at whom, entrances and exits, and the pacing of action, all to tell the story clearly and visually. It’s usually worked out in rehearsals and may be drawn as a diagram or shot list to guide performance and camera placement. Lighting design, audio mixing, and color grading are separate aspects of production—lighting creates mood, audio mixing balances sound, and color grading adjusts the image in post—so they aren’t part of the blocking itself.
